Old school Don Bosco! Got to see some of my old buddies last night, its nice to catch up every once in a while with them. There were a few minor set backs though,
#1 is that i was late, I ddnt arrive on time, the buffet table was already done for the night. fml,
#2 No free beer, although they do sell canned beer at a staggering price of 34 pesos(i think).
#3 Unlike last years Alumni Homecoming (and by the way was the best homecoming yet) everything was hella free and hella cheap! Everything in it just hits the right spot. Booze, Smokes, Entertainment.

But still, at the end of the day, everything turned out well and good!

CHEERS!

The need.

I found some old pictures from my old camera, this camera survived after 5 years of continuous beating from my lack of care. It finally gave in last 1/1/11 when i brought it to Enchanted Kingdom. Anyway, its been a while since i posted something in mandaragat's  blog. and i must say, i find it more entertaining and less time consuming than facebook. After deactivating my account in facebook, my life literally got more quieter. I could hear myself now when i go online. I dont know if i just got hooked up  badly with facebook, or maybe i was just craving for social interaction (being and only child can really get to you when you dont know how to spend your free days with the right people, and by right people i mean the right influence :) ).

HIGH SCHOOL ESSENTIALS

This is really something, i made this entry last September 15, 2008. These were the times that i was still out of the country. So as you can see out of boredom. Ive gathered some vital informations that were essential and also very good stepping stones for myself to literally survive through high school.

hahaha!

CHAPTER 1
High school essentials.

-This chapter goes through the books and their uses.

*note
Some books mentioned below are not yet available in the 1st 2ndand 3rd years, use substitution for better understanding , use whichever suits your year..
Example.
Economics book = History book
Trigonometry book = Geometry book
Or
Trigonometry book = Statistics book

Physics book (lecture)- thick and reliable for comfort, usually used as a table pillow.
Algebra book- thin but still comforting, advised uses  for the following:
-arm and butt comfort.
-side pillow.(for students who’s seated in row’s 1 and 7)

Trigonometry book- good for emergencies, specially when deli dining  food goes bad.
(which basically happens every Fridays.)
       (food recycling)

Filipino Book- wide and covered in plastic(optional), good for those rainy seasons.

Economics book
Physics book (lab)  -- commonly used as a substitute for dumbbells for those who seek toner thighs,
Religion books back muscles and flaps.

Liturgy guide  - aerodynamically designed for large amounts of pressure upon impact because of its semi-           hard cover (usually enforced with a harder plastic cover),

*tips
-Never forget to write your name at the side.
- effective in close range combat.
- Never throw.
- disposable yet reusable

English book - just a waste of space in the teachers lounge.

CHAPTER 2
Location and Good Moral.

              -This chapter goes through the “spots” and their uses in your classroom, as well as proper decorum.

G = good zones
B = bad zones

-GOODZONES:
Indicates the ideal spot for a student to reach out and help  a fellow student in times of his needs during a unit test, test, quiz, pop quiz. Whatever you want to call it, those are the perfect spots for doing charity works.

-BADZONES:
Those are the not so ideal places to do charity works,

Reason #1: you are exposed
Reason#2: Slight movements will be noticed
Reason#3: Hidden hand signals are more visible to the bosses eyes than you think.

*tips for successful charity works.

AVOID:
-eye contact with the boss (he/she can read your move even before you do it)
-unnecessary movements. (don’t look around too much, keep your eye on your paper)
-don’t make a scene (dropping a pen, tapping your table, going to the restroom.)

DO’S
- make connections with other sections, the first to take, the first to give J. (not intended for pop quiz)

- if you are in need of help, keep your head down at all cost (as if you are answering), do not let the boss know that you are  in need of charity work.

- make note’s, sometimes it is up to you to save others and yourself.

“a good deed should never be left undone, unless your about to get caught”

CHAPTER 3
Lounge
-This chapter goes through the best places in your classroom for a good lounge.

G = good zones
B = bad zones

GOODZONES:
-often neglected by the boss because his/her attention are at the ones who are in front.
- moderate but tolerable noise,

BADZOES:
-less noise, but the chances of you getting caught are high.

-The ultimate goal is going through a subject without having to worry about the boss finding you and ends up waking you up,   find a crowded place.

        - if all else fail.
-find a “attentive” student, stay and lounge behind his seat . a 100% success
